I don't specialize. I learn whatever pulls me in, build whatever won't leave my head, and move on when the next obsession hits.
Right now that's pairing music to books in real-time — a system that listens to what you're reading and scores it like a film. Before that it was churn prediction, rhythm games, and building an AI that curates my entire information diet so I never have to open social media again.

Convictions
Every opinion should be revisable. Every claim should be testable. I have zero patience for faith-based reasoning about things that affect people's lives.
The most interesting things happen at intersections — music and code, games and education, data science and product. Depth is overrated when breadth connects the dots.
Food, water, shelter, education, and the freedom to see the world. Until everyone has them, we're not as advanced as we pretend to be.
I'd rather know a little about everything than everything about one thing. The world is too interesting to pick a lane and stay in it.

Right now
Learning
Relearning maths and physics from scratch. Building the foundations I skipped the first time around.
Building
A system that pairs music to books in real-time — Shazam meets reading, eventually on AR glasses.
Studying
MSc Software Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Graduating 2026.
If you're building something interesting, I want to hear about it.
